No Signal privacy policy
No Signal is an arcade provided by Lalit Bahel. This policy covers the No Signal Chrome extension and the browser arcade at lalitbahel.com/no-signal/play/.
Your game records stay on your device. No Signal has no accounts, advertising, or gameplay analytics. The installed extension does not send your game records or browsing addresses to the developer. The website version makes ordinary requests to our website to load its pages and game files.
1. Game records and preferences
The extension stores high scores, stage unlocks, favorites, and sound preferences in its browser localStorage under no-signal-v1. Its automatic-opening preference is stored in chrome.storage.local under autoOpen.
The browser edition stores scores, stage unlocks, favorites, and sound preferences in this website’s localStorage under no-signal-web-v1. Website records and extension records are separate. No Signal does not upload them or sync them between devices or browsers.
Keyboard and pointer inputs are used to control games. No Signal does not record a keystroke log, mouse-movement history, or interaction analytics.
2. Navigation information used by the extension
The extension observes navigation events to detect a website that failed to load because the internet is disconnected. It temporarily keeps the most recent navigation state per open tab in memory, and checks the failed tab’s current and pending URL to avoid replacing a newer page.
No Signal does not build a persistent browsing-history database or send these addresses to the developer. The browser edition does not monitor other tabs or automatically replace Chrome error pages.
3. The Retry website address
When the extension opens after a disconnected page load, the original HTTP(S) address—including its query and fragment—is encoded in the arcade page’s URL fragment. This enables the Retry website button. The address remains visible locally in that tab and may be retained by Chrome’s own history or session handling. It is not uploaded by the extension or saved in the extension’s settings.
Choosing Retry website navigates to the original website. That website then handles the request under its own privacy practices. Choosing Chrome dinosaur opens Chrome’s built-in game in the same tab.
4. Extension permissions
- webNavigation: detects disconnected page loads and tracks navigation state to avoid stale redirects.
- tabs: reads the current and pending URL of the failed tab before opening the arcade.
- storage: saves and honors the automatic-opening preference.
The extension requests no host permissions and does not inject scripts into websites.
5. Browser play and website requests
The browser arcade downloads pages, scripts, fonts, and game assets from Lalitbahel.com. An internet connection is needed to load these files. Our hosting provider, Hostinger, and the website’s caching and content-delivery services receive normal request information such as IP address, requested URL, browser headers, and request time to deliver and protect the website. Those requests may be recorded in server or provider logs under their operational policies. This is separate from locally stored game records.
The product and privacy pages use the website’s shared navigation and appearance settings. The website may remember a theme preference in browser storage or a cookie. The standalone play page does not add advertising or gameplay analytics.
6. Bundled third-party games and external links
The 200 ABA Games titles are included under MIT licenses. In the extension, their code and assets come with the installation. In the browser version, they load from this website. The games run in a sandboxed local frame without access to extension APIs, the arcade’s DOM, or its storage. A limited message bridge carries controls, scores, pause state, and sound cues.
Creator, source, and license links open only when you choose them. An external website may receive normal browser request information and apply its own privacy policy. No Signal does not send your saved game records to those sites.
7. Retention and your controls
Local game records remain until you clear the corresponding browser storage or remove the extension. Disabling the extension stops its background behavior. Removing it through Chrome’s extension settings removes its extension storage. Clearing Lalitbahel.com’s site data removes website game records and may also clear other preferences saved by this website.
Turn off Open when offline in the extension’s Settings to keep Chrome’s usual error page. You can still open the arcade manually. Chrome’s own browsing history and session records are managed separately through Chrome. Website delivery logs follow the hosting provider’s retention practices; No Signal does not use them to synchronize game progress.
8. Data sharing and limited use
No Signal does not sell user data, use it for advertising or lending decisions, or transfer local game records or extension navigation information to third parties. The website delivery requests described above are processed by its hosting and content-delivery providers.
No Signal uses information obtained through Chrome APIs only to provide the offline arcade and its navigation controls. This use follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
9. Contact and policy updates
For questions about No Signal or this policy, email hello@lalitbahel.com or use the contact page. If you contact us, you choose what to include in your message. That correspondence is separate from the extension’s local operation and is used to respond to your request.
If the product’s data practices change, this page will be updated. The date at the top identifies the current policy.
